Whittier, Alaska. Part of the northernmost rainforest, averages over 400"of rain and 0ver 200" of snow each year. Surrounded by glaciers, gorgeous views and small town living. Below are pics from "my backyard" for the next 2 weeks. I'm staying at the tippy top of the 15 story Begich Towers. This building is home to a majority of the Whitter residents, as well as the Post Office, Police Dept, City Offices, a store and the Whittier Medical Clinic.
